Fixed open end wrench set
Torque wrench, 1/2 inch drive
Mechanical puller kit
Vise jaw caps
Hand hammer, 16 ounces
Automotive Mechanics Tool Kit
Socket wrench set, 1/2 inch drive
Drive pin punch, 1/8 inch point
Wood blocks, two, 2 by 4 by 8 inches
Heat resistant gloves
Bearing removal collar
MATERIALS/PARTS: Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1)
Cleaning solvent P-D-680 (Appendix C, item 2)
Hypoid gear oil (Appendix C, item 13)
Thread sealant (Appendix C, item 32)

Using hammer and punch, make aline-
ment-mark on each-case (11 and 15).
Remove 16 capscrews (1) and washers
Strike case (11) using soft hammer.
Remove case (11) and cone and rollers
(10) as an assembly.
Remove thrust washer (3).
spider (9), four gears (8), and thrust washers (7) as an assembly.
