ROPS/FOPS REMOVAL - CONTINUED

DO NOT remove exhaust stack until it has cooled to the touch. Wear gloves and protective clothing to
guard against burns. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
ROPS/FOPS weighs 1,000 lb (454 kg).
Attach lifting device to four lift points (A) on ROPS/
FOPS roof brackets.
Close cab door securely.
Slide deadbolt latch upward on left-side cab door to separate upper and lower door sections.
CAU T I ON
Ensure ROPS/FOPS is lifted straight up until fully clear of operator station. Failure to do so could result in
damage to operator station and operator components.
Slowly raise top portion of ROPS/FOPS cab approximately 1 in. (25.4 mm) until clear of operator station.
Ensure all mechanical and electrical connections are disconnected. Remove top portion of ROPS/FOPS cab.
Lower top portion of ROPS/FOPS cab on shipping pallet.
