REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Cab weighs 2,500 lb (1,134 kg).
Have an assistant guide the cab over the hydraulic linkages and backhoe joystick towers.
Raise cab slightly and check to be sure all hydraulic, electrical, and climate control
connections have been disconnected prior to removing cab from machine.
Note location and routing of all lines and hoses to aid in installation.
95. Using suitable lifting device, remove cab from machine.
96. Lower cab onto suitable cribbing.
97. Remove chains and lifting device from cab.
