FILL WATER Acceptable water for use in the ethylene glycol-type antifreeze and water /mixture IS shown on the chart below: I ACCEPTABLE WATER I WATER CONTENT 50% OR MORE ANTIFREEZE LESS THAN 50% ANTIFREEZE Chlorides 100 ppm or less 50 ppm or less Sulfates — 100 ppm or less 50 ppm or less Hardness as Ca C0₃ — 200 ppm or less 100 ppm or less Dissolved Solids — 500 ppm or less 250 ppm or less — pH 6.5 or higher 6.5 or higher -——. ppm = parts per million ANTIFREEZE Use MIL-A-46153, Antifreeze, Ethylene Glycol, Inhibited, Heavy Duty and follow the instructions for use in TB-750-651, Use of Antifreeze Solutions and Cleaning Compounds in Engine Cooling Systems. REFILL CAPACITIES These refill capacities are approximate and are not intended for exacting purposes, such as billing. They are for use as a guide when filling systems.
