TM 5-3805-258-24-2SECTION IIIREPAIR PARTS SUPPLY3-1.General:A.The basic policies and procedures in AR 710-2, AR 725-50and DA CIRC 700-27 are generally applicable to repair parts managementfor CCE items.B.Manufacturer’s parts manuals are furnished with CCE Itemsinstead of Department of Army Repair Parts and Special Tools List(RPSTL).c.National Stock Numbers (NSN) are initially assigned onlyto mission essential and major assemblies/parts, ie., engines,transmissions, etc...Additional NSNS are assigned by the supplysupport activities as demand warrants.D.Automated processing (AUTODIN) of Contractor AndGovernment Entity (CAGE) (Previously known as Federal Supply Code forManufacturers (FSCM)) part number requisitioning, without edit formatching NSNS and exception data, is authorized.E.Proper use of project codes and weapon system designatorcodes on parts requisitions is essential.Repair parts are available from commercial sources and maybe purchased locally in accordance with AR 734-110 and AR 710-2.G.Any questions or problems with ordering parts should bebrought to the attention of the U.S. Tank-Automotive Command,ATTN: AMSTA-MB, Warren, Mi48397-5000.5-541
