REMOVAL (SHEET 1 OF 2)
NOTE
If water pump assembly (6) and body assembly (11) are to be replaced as
a complete assembly, go to step

Remove capscrew (1) and washer
( 2 ) .
Using a puller if necessary,
remove pulley (3).
Remove four nuts (4) and lock
washers (5). Pull water pump
assembly (6) from body assembly
( 1 1 ).
Remove and discard gasket (7).

Loosen three hose clamps then
remove body assembly to water
manifold hose and oil cooler
hose as shown. Remove hose
clamps and elbow.
Remove four capscrews (8 and 9)
and lock washers (10).
Pull body assembly (11) from
cylinder block.
