Test Step 4. Inspect Fuel Return
Engine Misfires, Runs
Hoses and Tubes for Leakage, Sharp
Rough, or Is Unstable -
Bends, Pinching, or Damage.
Continued
1. With an assistant activate the
electric fuel priming pump switch
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Inspect fuel return hose (Figure 4,
No Leaks Identified - Proceed to
Item 3) between fuel cooler
step 3.
(Figure 4, Item 1) and fuel tank
Fuel Return Hose Leaks - Tighten or
(Figure 4, Item 5) for Class I, II,
replace hose clamps. If leak remains,
or III leaks, and loose clamps
replace fuel return hose (WP 0210).
(Figure 4, Items 2 and 4).
Proceed to Test Step 8.
3. Inspect fuel return hose (Figure 4,
