ECM J1.
3. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace engine wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0299).
between connector EN-C1
Proceed to Test Step 4.
(WP 0012, Figure 11) terminal 43
No Continuity - Proceed to step 4.
and all other EN-C1 terminals.
4. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace engine wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0299).

Test Step 4. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all harness connectors are
connected.
2. Install right lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
3. Install right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
4. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 41-3 8 VDC Supply
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
Voltage Above Normal Becomes
Inactive - Troubleshooting complete.
Diagnostic Code 41-3 8 VDC Supply
Above Normal Remains Active -
Repeat troubleshooting from the
beginning.
