Voltage 7.5 to 8.5 Volts DC - Replace
(WP 0174), test for voltage
primary engine speed (crank position)
between E-C11 (WP 0012,
sensor (WP 0245).

Test Step 3. Test for Open Engine
Control Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Disconnect connector E-C4
(WP 0012, Figure 10) from engine
ECM connector J2.
3. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
connector E-C11 (WP 0012,
Figure 19).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace engine ECM (WP 0265).
between connector E-C4
Proceed to Test Step 4.
(WP 0012, Figure 10) terminal 10
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
and terminal 52.
Replace engine control wiring harness
(WP 0294).
Proceed to Test Step 4.
Test Step 4. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all wiring harness
connectors are connected.
2. Install right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
