6. From pop-up window

arrow (Figure 8, Item 4).
7. Select On (Figure 8, Item 5) from
drop down menu, select OK
(Figure 8, Item 6), then select YES
from pop-up window to activate
glow plugs.
8. Using MSD (WP 0008), check for
Diagnostic Code 2246-5 Glow Plug
active diagnostic codes
Start Aid Relay Current Below
Normal Is Active - Select Disable
(Figure 8, Item 8).
Override button (Figure 8,
Item 7) to de-activate glow plugs.
Select Disconnect icon (Figure 8,
Item 2).
Turn ignition switch and battery discon-
nect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Proceed to Test Step 2.

Start Aid Relay Current Below
Normal Is Not Active - Select Disable
Override button (Figure 8, Item 7) to de-
activate glow plugs.
Select Disconnect icon (Figure 8,
Item 2).
Troubleshooting is complete.
