Test Step 4. Perform Transmission
Clutch Calibration.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Perform transmission clutch fill
Transmission Fill Calibration
calibration (WP 0167).
Succeeded - Proceed to Test Step 5.
Transmission Fill Calibration Failed
- Perform the transmission clutch fill
calibration procedure (WP 0167)
again. If transmission fill calibration
fails replace transmission clutch 2
solenoid valve (WP 0310).
Proceed to Test Step 6.
Test Step 5. Check Clutch 2 Oil
Pressure.
1. Apply sealant on threads of 580
psi (4,000 kPa) gauge (Figure 1,
Item 1) and a 6V-3966 valved
nipple (Figure 1, Item 3) from
pressure gauge kit.
2. Install adapter (Figure 1, Item 4)
on 580 psi (4,000 kPa) gauge
(Figure 1, Item 1).
3. Install 6V-3966 valved nipple
(Figure 1, Item 3) on adapter
(Figure 1, Item 4).
4. Connect hose 177-7861 (Figure 1,
Item 2), from pressure gauge kit, to
6V-3966 valved nipple (Figure 1,
Item 3).
