Test Step 2. Test Wiring Harness for
High Resistance or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
3. Disconnect connector EN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 11) from engine
ECM connector J1.
4. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 23 and terminal 24 of
connector EN-C1 (WP 0012,
Figure 11).
5. Remove left lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
6. Remove transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
7. Disconnect connector C-C12
(WP 0012, Figure 26) from
Transmission ECM J1.
8. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 2.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 4.
between connector C-C12
Resistance Greater Than 2.0 Ohms -
(WP 0012, Figure 26) terminal 10
Proceed to Test Step 3.
and terminal 20.
