UPPER RADIATOR HOSE REMOVAL

WARNING
DO NOT service cooling system unless engine has cooled. This is a pressurized cooling
system and escaping steam or hot coolant will cause serious burns.
DO NOT remove cooling system radiator cap when engine is hot. Allow engine to cool
down. Loosen cap to first stop and let any pressure out of cooling system, then remove
cap.
Wear effective eye, glove, and skin protection when handling coolants.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or serious burns to personnel.
NOTE
Place drain pan under hoses during removal to capture any remaining fluid.
1. Loosen clamp (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 2) from radiator (Figure 1, Item 9).
2. Loosen clamp (Figure 1, Item 3) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 2) from bulkhead (Figure 1, Item 4). Remove
hose from machine.
3. Loosen clamp (Figure 1, Item 5) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 8) from bulkhead (Figure 1, Item 4).
4. Loosen clamp (Figure 1, Item 6) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 8) from engine (Figure 1, Item 7). Remove
hose from machine.
