Contact with refrigerant can cause frostbite. Keep hands and face away
to prevent personal injury.
Protective face shield and gloves must always be worn when refrigerant
lines are opened, even if the gauges indicate that the system is empty.
Always use caution when disconnecting fittings. Slowly loosen fittings in a
well-ventilated area.
Do not smoke when servicing A/C or wherever refrigerant gas may be
present.
Only service A/C system in a well-ventilated area.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to
personnel.
CAUTION
Plug and cap all hoses and fittings to prevent contamination. Failure to
follow this caution may result in damage to machine.
NOTE
Tag and mark A/C lines to aid in installation.
3. Remove two A/C lines (Figure 23,
Metal Particles or Debris Found -
Items 1 and 4) and O-rings (Figure
23, Items 2 and 3) from A/C com-
metal particles or debris have entered
pressor (Figure 23, Item 5) (WP
A/C lines, clean or replace A/C lines
0366) and inspect all parts for
metal particles and debris.
Proceed to Test Step 9.
No Metal Particles or Debris Found -
(WP 0366).
A/C expansion valve is stuck open.
Replace A/C expansion valve (WP
0358).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
