Brake Lights Do Not
Test Step 1. Verify Operation of
Function Correctly
Brake Lights.
1. Turn ignition switch to the on posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Turn light control switch lever (Fig-
ure 1, Item 4) to SER. DRIVE posi-
tion (Figure 1, Item 3) (TM 5-2420-
231-10).
3. Have an assistant depress and
hold brake pedal (Figure 1, Item 2)
(TM 5-2420-231-10).
4. Observe two brake lights (Figure 1,
Left Brake Light Off and Right Brake
Item 1) (TM 5-2420-231-10).
Light On - Proceed to Test Step 2.
Right Brake Light Off and Left Brake
Light On - Proceed to Test Step 3.
Both Brake Lights Off - Proceed to
Test Step 4.
