9. Start engine and run at low idle (TM 5-2420-231-10).
10. Move loader control lever to the RAISE position while reading pressure gauge. Pressure gauge should read
approximately 0 psi (0 kPa). If pressure gauge indicates more than 25 psi (172 kPa), replace right solenoid
valve.
11. Lower loader bucket to ground (TM 5-2420-231-10).
12. Put ride control switch in on position (TM 5-2420-231-10).
13. Move loader control lever to RAISE position while reading pressure gauge. Pressure gauge should indicate
approximately 500 psi (3,448 kPa). If pressure gauge does not indicate 500 psi (3,448 kPa), refer to
14. Turn off engine (TM 5-2420-231-10).

LEFT SOLENOID VALVE FOR RIDE CONTROL (TANK)

1. Turn engine on (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Put ride control switch in on position (TM 5-2420-231-10).
3. Move manual control lever to LOWER position until loader bucket is on ground.
4. Continue to lower loader bucket to raise front of machine off ground. Loader must not be able to lift and hold
front of machine off ground. If loader can lift and hold front of machine, refer to troubleshooting (WP 0083).
5. Lower machine to the floor.
6. Put ride control switch in the off position (TM 5-2420-231-10).
7. Move manual control lever to LOWER position until loader bucket is on ground.
8. Continue to lower loader bucket to raise front of machine off ground. Loader must be able to lift and hold front
of machine off ground. If loader cannot lift and hold front of machine off ground, refer to troubleshooting
9. Lower machine to ground.
10. Turn ignition switch to off position (TM 5-2420-231-10).
