Mark position of throttle cable bracket to aid in installation.
9. Remove two bolts (Figure 7, Item 2) and washers (Figure 7, Item 3), and position throttle cable bracket
(Figure 7, Item 4) aside.
10. Remove bolt (Figure 7, Item 5), washer (Figure 7, Item 6), strut (Figure 7, Item 1), and two washers (Figure 7,
Item 7) from machine.

Loosely install bolts to aid installation.
1. Install two washers (Figure 7, Item 7), strut (Figure 7, Item 1), washer (Figure 7, Item 6), and bolt (Figure 7,
Item 5) on machine.
NOTE
Position throttle cable bracket as marked during removal.
2. Position throttle cable bracket (Figure 7, Item 4) on machine and install two washers (Figure 7, Item 3) and
bolts (Figure 7, Item 2).
