Preparing to Operate
Clear all personnel from the vehicle and
the area.
Clear all obstacles from the path of the
vehicle. Beware of hazards such as wires
and ditches.
Adjust the rear view mirror for best
vision.
Make sure the vehicle horn, the backup
alarm, and all other warning devices are
working properly.
Fasten the seat belt securely.
Check for proper operation of all controls
and protective devices while moving slowly
in an open area.
Test all controls before starting to work.
