4. Remove the rear differential fill plug
slowly from the rear axle housing.
5. Maintain the oil level to the bottom of
the fill plug openings. Clean and install both
fill plugs.
AIR INTAKE SYSTEM
WARNING
If NBC exposure is suspected, all air filter media
should be handled by personnel wearing pro-
tective equipment. Consult your unit NBC Offi-
cer or NBC NCO for appropriate handling or dis-
posal instructions.
PRIMARY ELEMENT
1. Remove the cover and the primary
element, Clean and inspect the element. See
the topic “Cleaning Air Cleaner
Elements. ”
CAUTION
Always inspect the primary element before
and after cleaning with a light bulb inside the
element. Discard- the elem-ent, if any tears,
rips or damage are evident.
