INDIVIDUAL CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
MAIN STEERING INDICATOR
The steering has a main steering indictor light on the instrument panel that
tells the operator when primary steering pump flow has stopped.
The indicator circuit gets power from a 10 amp fuse marked SUPP
STEER on the fuse panel under the instrument panel. When primary steering
pump flow stops [or falls below approximately 5.7 liter/min (1.5 U.S. gpm)],
the 9J4132 Flow Switch closes and turns on the indicator light.
Tighten the lower body of the flow switch to 21.5 ± 2.3 N·m (190 ± 20 lb.
in.). Then turn the upper body so that the arrow shows the direction flow, and
tighten to a torque of 4.7 ± 2.0 N·m (42 ± 18 lb. in.).
