TM 5-3805-258-24-1O P E R A T O R ’ S S T A T I O NS Y S T E M S O P E R A T I O NINDIVIDUAL CIRCUIT DESCRIPTIONMAIN STEERING INDICATORThe steering has a main steering indictor light on the instrument panel thattells the operator when primary steering pump flow has stopped.The indicator circuit gets power from a 10 amp fuse marked “SUPPSTEER” on the fuse panel under the instrument panel. When primary steeringpump flow stops [or falls below approximately 5.7 liter/min (1.5 U.S. gpm)],the 9J4132 Flow Switch closes and turns on the indicator light.Tighten the lower body of the flow switch to 21.5 ± 2.3 N·m (190 ± 20 lb.in.). Then turn the upper body so that the arrow shows the direction flow, andtighten to a torque of 4.7 ± 2.0 N·m (42 ± 18 lb. in.).Main Steering Circuit3-184
