ATTACHMENT HITCH
The hook-tube mating surfaces are mated in a
wedge-shaped configuration. The two lines of con-
tact (Areas A & B) may eventually wear into
the tube far enough to prevent the wedges from
locking tight. Build up with E7018 electrode to
approximately the original contour plus enough to
smooth off with a grinder. The hooks are made of
a slightly harder material than the tube so most of
the wear should occur on the tube allowing for
more convenient rebuilding.
