ROLLOVER PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE (ROPS)
WARNING
To avoid possible weakening of
(Rollover Protective Structure),
the ROPS
consult a
Caterpillar dealer before altering the ROPS
in any way. The protection offered by the
ROPS will be reduced if it has been sub-
jected to structural damage or has been
involved in an overturn incident.
1. Inspect the ROPS structure.
2. Tighten the 6 mounting bolts on each
side of the machine to 570 ± 80 N ·m
(420 ± 60 lb ft). Total of 12 bolts.
