WARNING

face shield and protective clothing. The
maximum air pressure must be below 205
kPa (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.

4. Install a 1 inch NPT pipe nipple
(Caterpillar part number 6B3156) to unseat
the drain valve.
CAUTION
Install the drain pipe nipple only finger tight
until the oil starts to drain. Do NOT force the
pipe nipple into the valve. This will damage
the drain valve and cause leakage.

7. Clean the fill screen in a clean,
nonflammable solvent. Shake or blow dry.
6. Remove the fill screen.
8. Install the fill screen.
