INSTALLATION

Install and tighten elbow (10) in valve (9) end port .

Position valve (9) on left instrument panel and secure using nut (8); ensure
t h a t b a r b f i t t i n g p o r t o f v a l v e ( 9 ) i s p o s i t i o n e d a t b o t t o m o f v a l v e .
Install and tighten knob (7) on valve (9) control shaft.
Route hose (6) between valve (9) and tee installed in port of parking brake
valve installed on right instrument panel.
Connect fitting on one end of hose (6) to tee and tighten; connect and tighten
fitting on opposite end of hose (6) to elbow (10).
Tell assistant to install nozzle (5) in hole located in front chassis and hold
nozzle using open end wrench.
Install and tighten nut (4) to secure nozzle (5).
Route hoses (1 and 2) between nozzle (5) and valve (9) through hole in front
c h a s s i s f l o o r p l a t e t o r e s e r v o i r ( 3 ).
Connect hose (2) to valve (9) barb fitting port. Connect hose (1) to nozzle
(5) port. DO this by pushing hose onto valve barb fitting port or nozzle port
a s f a r a s p o s s i b l e.
Install reservoir (3) by hooking onto bracket welded on side of front chassis.
Fill reservoir with windshield washer cleaning compound.
Connect hoses (1 and 2) to tubes of reservoir (3) by pushing hoses onto tubes
a s f a r a s p o s s i b l e.
Close and lock front access door.
Close air reservoir drain valve. Start engine and operate at idle speed until
low air pressure warning buzzer stops sounding.
Press and hold WASHER PUSH control; check that water sprays from nozzle.

If water did not spray from nozzle, refer to troubleshooting
cedures (page 3-164).
