WARN I N G
Connect steering frame lock between front and rear frames before transporting machine. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
8.
Connect steering frame lock between front and rear frames (WP 0015 00).
9.
Move hydraulic control levers through all positions to relieve hydraulic system pressure in lines. Return levers to HOLD
position (WP 0005 00).
10.
Press top of hydraulic lockout (IMPLEMENT DISABLE) switch to lock hydraulic controls (WP 0004 00).
11.
Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position and remove key (WP 0004 00).
CAU T I ON
Machines transported without proper safeguards may incur wind damage. Ensure all doors and
compartments are securely latched and secured against flying open. Failure to do so may cause
damage to equipment during transit.
Exhaust opening must be taped closed to prevent wind from entering exhaust system and causing
turbocharger to spin, without the benefit of lubrication. Failure to cover exhaust opening may
damage turbocharger.
12.
Use duct tape to cover exhaust opening.
13.
Secure machine against vandalism.
14.
Secure machine on trailer bed with blocking and tiedowns, in accordance with shipping data plate on machine and illus-
tration of tiedown points in WP 0020 00.
15.
Load and secure shipping pallet.

UNLOADING MACHINE FROM TRAILER
1.
Chock wheels of trailer.
2.
Unload shipping pallet and remove tiedowns from ROPS/FOPS, exhaust stack, and shipping pallet.
3.
Remove blocking and tiedowns from machine.
4.
Remove vandalism protection devices.
5.
Remove tape from exhaust opening.
WAR N I N G
DO NOT operate machine with steering frame lock connected. Steering frame lock must be discon-
nected and securely stowed. If not properly stowed, loss of steering control could result. Failure to fol-
low this warning may result in injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
6.
Disconnect and securely stow steering frame lock (WP 0015 00).
7.
Insert key and turn battery disconnect switch to ON position (WP 0004 00).
Stand clear of frame articulation area when machine is operating. There is no clearance for personnel
in this area when machine turns. Crushing could occur, resulting in injury or death to personnel.
8.
Start engine and allow to warm up (WP 0005 00).
9.
Press bottom of hydraulic lockout (IMPLEMENT DISABLE) switch to unlock hydraulic controls (WP 0004 00).
