MUFFLER INSTALLATION

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Install muffler from left side of
machine.
Muffler weighs 23 lb (10.43 kg).
1.
With assistance, position muffler (14) and clamp (25)
on turbocharger (22).

2.
Apply antiseize compound to threads and under head
of bolts (8 and 15).
3.
Install washer (16), bolt (15), clip (19), washer (18),
and nut (17) on muffler (14).
N OT E
Clips (12) secure hydraulic line, ether line,
and harness bracket.
4.
Install washer (9) on bolt (8) and install bolt through
muffler (14). Install spacer (13), two clips (12), and
washer (11). Secure assembly with nut (10).
