CONDENSER INSTALLATION

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Condenser group weighs 41 lb (18.5 kg).
1.
Attach lifting equipment to condenser group (1).
2.
With assistance, position condenser group (1) on hood frame (5).
3.
Install eight washers (4) and bolts (3) in hood (5).
4.
Connect wiring harness (2) to condenser group (1).
5.
Install hood (WP 0110 00).
6.
Connect refrigerant lines to condenser group (WP 0193 00).
7.
Replace inline refrigerant dryer (WP 0194 00).
8.
Charge AC system (WP 0191 00).
9.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached and run AC on highest cool setting (TM 5-3805-290-10).
10.
Check for correct operation of AC system (TM 5-3805-290-10).
11.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
FAN REMOVAL

1.
Remove eight screws (6) and two guards (7) from fans
(8).
2.
Remove eight screws (9) and two fans (10) from hous-
ing (11).
FAN INSTALLATION
1.
Install two fans (10) and eight screws (9) on housing
(11).
2.
Install two guards (7) and eight screws (6) on fans (8).
