Battery Box

1.
Remove batteries from battery box (WP 0096 00).
2.
Remove cables from battery box (WP 0097 00).
3.
Remove upper step and brackets from machine (WP 0134 00).
4.
Remove two bolts (65), washers (66), and clamps (64) from battery box (60).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting equipment. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury
or death to personnel.
N OT E
Battery box weighs 110 lb (50 kg).

With assistance, attach lifting equipment to battery box (60).
6.
Remove bolt (61), washer (62), and clamp (63) from battery box (60).
7.
Remove two bolts (68) and washers (67) from battery box (60).
