Do not perform fuel system maintenance while near heat, flames or sparks. Fuel may
ignite, causing injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
Operating personnel must wear fuel-resistantgloves when handling fuels. If exposed to
fuel, promptly wash exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warnings ma result in injury to personnel.

Tag fuel lines toaid in installation.
Use a container to catch any fluid that maydrain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid
IAW local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
1. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 8), washer (Figure 1, Item 7), and clamp (Figure 1, Item 6), releasing fuel line (Fig-
ure 1, Item 5).
2. Squeeze and disconnect fuel line (Figure 1, Item 5) from head (Figure 1, Item 4) quick disconnect.
3. Disconnect fuel line (Figure 1, Item 3) from head (Figure 1, Item 4).
N OT E
Fuel line is easier to remove with throttle lever in rearward position.
4. Disconnect fuel line (Figure 1, Item 2) from fuel injection pump (Figure 1, Item 1) and filter head (Figure 1, Item
4).
