4. The loader is transportable as follows:
a. Without reconfiguration, it can be driven onto C-5 and C-17 aircraft and transported by Association of
American Railroads (AAR) rail.
b. With ROPS/FOPS and exhaust stack removed, with one rear counterweight relocated onto the MP bucket,
and with the remaining three counterweights removed, it can be driven onto C-130 aircraft.

With ROPS/FOPS and exhaust stack removed, it can be transported by highway and Gabarit International
de Chargement (GIC) rail.
d. Marine vessels can also transport the 924H Wheel Loader.
6. Machines that operate in extreme cold weather, from -25 to -40F (-32 to -40C), are factory equipped with an
arctic cold weather starting aid system which includes:
a. A diesel-fired engine coolant heater, and
b. Heavy-duty batteries.
