MAINTENANCE SUPPORT DEVICE (MSD) COMPUTER BASED TRAINING (CBT)

1. Setup the maintenance support device (MSD) if not previously done, as described in maintenance support
device (MSD) setup (WP 0008).
2. Select MSD Operator Training icon (Figure 1, Item 1) on windows desktop to activate the MSD computer
based training (CBT) (Figure 1, Item 2).
NOTE
Select Exit CBT button (Figure 1, Item 9) at any time to exit CBT.
3. Read Contents window (Figure 1, Item 3) on right side of screen. Use up arrow button (Figure 1, Item 5) and
down arrow button (Figure 1, Item 6) to review each title (Figure 1, Item 4).
4. Select a title (Figure 1, Item 4), and read the information displayed on left side of MSD CBT window
(Figure 1, Item 12).
5. Select Next Frame button (Figure 1, Item 8) to proceed to next frame until each frame has been viewed. Use
Previous Frame button (Figure 1, Item 11) at any time to return to a previous frame.
6. You may also select next title (Figure 1, Item 4) or the Next Topic button (Figure 1, Item 10) to proceed with
next topic in CBT. Use Previous Topic button (Figure 1, Item 7) at any time to return to a previous topic.
7. Continue with each frame and topic until CBT (Figure 1, Item 2) is complete.
8. Select Exit CBT button (Figure 1, Item 9) to exit CBT. Shutdown windows when finished with MSD to turn MSD
off.
