E0119 Low Fuel Event Code
Conditions Which Generate This
Code:
The transmission electronic control
module (ECM) monitors the fuel level.
System Response:
A warning will appear on instrument
panel, event code will be logged if low
fuel level is detected.
Possible Performance Effect:
Engine will stall, or engine may crank
but will not start.
Test Step 1. Verify Fuel Level.
1. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Inspect fuel level gauge for level of
Fuel Less Than 1/4 Tank - Proceed to
fuel (TM 5-3805-298-10).

Fuel Level Gauge Indicates Move
Than 1/4 Tank - Replace instrument
cluster (WP 0252). Proceed to step 3.
3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
WARNING
Diesel fuel is combustible and an irritant. Skin and eye protection is
required. Ensure work area is well-ventilated.
Keep away from open flame and other ignition sources.
Wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to
personnel.
4. Add approximately 15 gallons
(57 liters) of fuel at a time to fuel
tank (TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
