Excessive Oil Consumption
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns.
Before performing maintenance on machine, allow engine and
components to cool completely.
Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
Test Step 1. Inspect for Engine Oil
Leaks at Valve Cover and Crankcase
Breather Hose.
No Leak Present - Proceed to step 2.
1. Inspect for Class III leaks between
valve cover (Figure 1, Item 1) and
