Wiring Harness for an Open Circuit.
1. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
2. Disconnect connector EW-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 49) from
connector EN-C20 (WP 0012,
Figure 48).
3. Using a digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Remove jumper wire from connector
between connector EW-C1
EW-C2 (WP 0012, Figure 50) terminal
(WP 0012, Figure 49) terminal 1
2 and terminal 3, and connect connector
and terminal 2.
EW-C2 (WP 0012, Figure 50) to engine
shutdown switch connector (WP 0012,
Figure 51).
Proceed to step 4.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Replace engine shutdown switch
jumper harness (WP 0296).
Proceed to Test Step 3.
4. Using a digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
