C-C18 (WP 0012, Figure 13).
3. Connect connector EN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 11) to engine
ECM J1.
4. Start engine and operate governor
control pedal (TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. At MSD, check for active

Remains Active - Replace governor
control pedal assembly (WP 0226).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
Test Step 7. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all wiring harness
connectors are connected.
2. Start engine and operate governor
control pedal (TM 5-3805-298-10).
3. At MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 91-8 Throttle
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
Position Sensor Abnormal
Frequency, Pulse Width, or Period
Becomes Inactive - Troubleshooting
complete.

Remains Active - Replace engine
ECM (WP 0265).
Proceed to Test Step 14.
Test Step 8. Test Wiring Harness for
High Resistance or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
