1. Connect jumper wire between

connector E-C8 (WP 0012,
Figure 30).
2. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace air (boost) pressure sensor
between connector E-C4
(WP 0242).
(WP 0012, Figure 10) terminal 55
Proceed to Test Step 4.
and terminal 38.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Replace engine control wiring harness
(WP 0294).
Proceed to Test Step 4.
Test Step 4. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all harness connectors are
connected.
2. Install right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
3. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 1785-3 Intake
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).

Voltage Is Above Normal Becomes
Inactive - Troubleshooting complete.
Diagnostic Code 1785-3 Intake
Manifold Pressure Sensor Signal
Voltage Is Above Normal Remains
Active - Repeat troubleshooting from
the beginning.
