6. From pop-up window
- Continued
(Figure 2, Item 3), select down
arrow (Figure 2, Item 4).
7. Select On (Figure 2, Item 5) from
drop down menu, select OK
(Figure 2, Item 6), then select YES
from pop-up window to activate
glow plugs.
8. Using MSD (WP 0008), check for
Diagnostic Code 2246-5 Glow Plug
active diagnostic codes
Start Aid Relay Current Below
Normal Is Active - Select Disable
(Figure 2, Item 8).
Override button (Figure 2,
Item 7) to de-activate glow plugs.
Select Disconnect icon (Figure 2,
Item 2).
Turn ignition switch and battery discon-
nect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Proceed to Test Step 2.
Diagnostic Code 2246-5 Glow Plug
Start Aid Relay Current Below
Normal Is Not Active - Select Disable
Override button (Figure 2, Item 7) to de-
activate glow plugs.
Select Disconnect icon (Figure 2,
Item 2).
Troubleshooting is complete.
