1. Disconnect jumper wire between
terminal 10 and 17 of connector
C-C18 (WP 0012, Figure 13).
2. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
3. Disconnect connector EN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 11) from engine
ECM J1.
4. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 10 of connector EN-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 12) and ground.
5. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 50 to 54 Ohms - Replace
(WP 0174), measure resistance
engine ECM (WP 0265).

Install kickout fuse (TM 5-3805-298-
(WP 0012, Figure 11) terminal 57

2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 1 and 2 of connector EN-
C3 (WP 0012, Figure 38).
3. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace glow plug relay (WP 0261).
