Normal - Continued
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove console instrument panel
for access to wiring harness
connectors (WP 0264).
3. Disconnect connector E-C42
(WP 0012, Figure 42) from throttle
lock set (WP 0012, Figure 43).
4. Push and hold throttle lock set
switch in the set position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less --
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 3.
between throttle lock set switch
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
(WP 0012, Figure 43) terminal 3
Replace throttle lock set/resume switch
and terminal 2.
(WP 0264).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Lower
Cab Wiring Harness.
1. Remove right lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
2. Disconnect connector EN-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 22) from
connector C-C19 (WP 0012,
Figure 23).
3. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace lower cab wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0291).
between connector C-C19
Proceed to Test Step 5.
(WP 0012, Figure 23) terminal 9
No Continuity - Proceed to Test Step 4.
and all other C-C19 terminals.
Test Step 4. Test for Shorted Engine
Wiring Harness.
1. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
2. Disconnect connector EN-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 11) from engine
ECM J2.
