Test Step 2. Test for Faulty
262-4 Five-Volt Sensor
Transmission Neutralizer Sensor or
Power Supply Voltage Is
Brake Charging Oil Pressure Sensor.
Below Normal or the Voltage
Is Shorted Low - Continued
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Disconnect connector C-C7
transmission neutralizer sensor.
3. Disconnect connector EN-C7
charging oil pressure sensor.
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch ON (TM 5-3805-
298-10).
5. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 262-4 Five-Volt
Sensor Power Supply Voltage Is
Below Normal Remains Active -
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Diagnostic Code 262-4 Five-Volt
Sensor Power Supply Voltage Is
Below Normal Becomes Inactive -
Proceed to step 6.
6. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
7. Connect connector EN-C7
charging oil pressure sensor.
8. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch ON (TM 5-3805-
298-10).
9. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 262-4 Five-Volt
Sensor Power Supply Voltage Is
Below Normal Becomes Active -
Replace brake charging oil pressure
sensor (WP 0236).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
Diagnostic Code 262-4 Five-Volt
Sensor Power Supply Voltage Is
Below Normal Remains Inactive -
Replace transmission neutralizer
sensor (WP 0327).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
