Implement Lockout Switch.

Normal - Continued
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove console instrument panel
for access to wiring harness
connectors (WP 0264).
3. Disconnect connector C-C6
(WP 0012, Figure 70) from
implement lockout switch
(WP 0012, Figure 71).
4. Push implement lockout switch to
OFF position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace implement lockout switch
between implement lockout switch
(WP 0264).
(WP 0012, Figure 71) terminal 6
Proceed to Test Step 4.
and terminal 5.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Proceed to step 6.
6. Push implement lockout switch to
ON position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
7. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace implement lockout switch
between implement lockout switch
(WP 0264).
(WP 0012, Figure 71) terminal 4
Proceed to Test Step 4.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Lower
Cab Wiring Harness.
1. Remove left lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
2. Remove transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
3. Disconnect connector C-C13
(WP 0012, Figure 25) from
Transmission ECM J2.
4. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace lower cab wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0291).
between connector C-C13
Proceed to Test Step 4.
(WP 0012, Figure 25) terminal 59
No Continuity - Proceed to step 5.
