3. Disconnect connector LE-C17

differential lock solenoid.

4. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
connector LE-C17 (WP 0012,
Figure 88).
5. Remove left lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
6. Remove transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
7. Disconnect connector C-C13
(WP 0012, Figure 25) from
Transmission ECM J2.
8. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace differential lock solenoid
between connector C-C13
(WP 0378).
(WP 0012, Figure 25) terminal 5
Proceed to Test Step 4.
and terminal 8.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Test Step 3. Test Front Frame Wiring
Harness for High Resistance or
Open.
1. Disconnect connector LE-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 87) from
connector C-C10 (WP 0012,
Figure 86).
2. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace lower cab wiring harness
between connector LE-C1
(WP 0291).
(WP 0012, Figure 87) terminal 9
Proceed to Test Step 4.
and terminal 10.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
Replace front frame wiring harness
(WP 0301).
Proceed to Test Step 4.
Test Step 4. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all wiring harness
connectors are connected.
2. Install transmission ECM cover
(WP 0266).
3. Install right and left lower cab
access panels (WP 0347).
