Position Proceed to step 3.
Front Windshield Wiper Does Not
Park in the Same Place Proceed to
Test Step 16.
3. Remove front wiper arm
(WP 0358).
4. Locate front wiper arm to correct
park position and install front wiper
arm (WP 0358).
5. Operate front windshield wiper in
low then off three times
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
6. Observe location of park for the
Front Windshield Wiper Parks in the
front windshield wiper (TM 5-3805- Park Position Proceed to Test
298-10).
Step 17.
Front Windshield Wiper Does Not
Park in the Park Position Replace
front wiper motor (WP 0358).
Proceed to Test Step 17.
Test Step 16. Test Park Switch in
Front Wiper Motor.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove dash panel at front wiper
switch for access to wiring harness
connectors (WP 0258).
3. Disconnect connector HN-C20
(WP 0012, Figure 190) from front
wiper switch (WP 0012,
Figure 191).
