3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
4. Remove wipers fuse from fuse
panel (TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less Install
(WP 0174), measure resistance
wipers fuse (TM 5-3805-298-10) and
between terminals of wipers fuse.

Test Step 7. Test for Shorted Wiring

1. Remove rear cab liner (WP 0354).
2. Disconnect connector G-C5

wiper motor.
3. Turn rear wipers switch to the off
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
4. Turn front wipers switch to the off
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
5. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Proceed to Test Step 8.
(WP 0174), test for continuity
No Continuity Proceed to step 6.
between connector G-C5
(WP 0012, Figure 192) terminal 5
and terminal 2.
6. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Proceed to Test Step 10.
(WP 0174), test for continuity
No Continuity Replace rear wiper
between connector G-C5
motor (WP 0359).
