WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support during
procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Powerpack assembly weighs approximately 2,600 lb (1,179 kg).
100. Using lifting device and chain hoist, raise powerpack approximately 1 inch off frame.
101. Position trestle under transmission.
NOTE
Note position and height of trestle to aid in transmission mount bracket installation.
102. Using lifting device, lower transmission onto trestle to maintain a 1 inch clearance between transmission
mount brackets and frame.
