1. Remove three locknuts (Figure 3, Item 4), holddown bar (Figure 3, Item 3), and three J-hooks (Figure 3,
Item 5) from battery box (Figure 3, Item 1). Discard locknuts.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to
personnel.
NOTE
Each battery weighs 73 lb (33 kg).
2. With assistance, remove two batteries (Figure 3, Item 2) from battery box (Figure 3, Item 1).
