REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
The transmission assembly weighs 772 lb (350 kg).
Note location of bolts to aid in installation.
62. Using lifting device, remove 10 bolts (Figure 24, Item 3), washers (Figure 24, Item 4), and transmission
(Figure 24, Item 1) from engine (Figure 24, Item 5).
63. Lower transmission (Figure 24, Item 1) onto flat surface.
64. Remove sling and lifting device from transmission.
65. Remove bolt (Figure 24, Item 9), washer (Figure 24, Item 8), and bracket link (Figure 24, Item 10) from
transmission (Figure 24, Item 1).
66. Remove bolt (Figure 24, Item 6), washer (Figure 24, Item 7), and bracket link (Figure 24, Item 2) from
transmission (Figure 24, Item 1).
67. Install washer (Figure 24, Item 7) and bolt (Figure 24, Item 6) on transmission (Figure 24, Item 1).
