WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Use assistance when removing pin from support arms to support backhoe bucket cylinder.
When pin is removed, lower backhoe bucket cylinder and support arms to a resting
position.
1. Attach sling and lifting device to support arm (Figure 1, Item 2).
2. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 1, Item 4), washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and pin (Figure 1, Item 5) from three
support arms (Figure 1, Items 2 and 6).
3. With assistance, remove two retaining rings (Figure 1, Item 12), washers (Figure 1, Item 1), pin
(Figure 1, Item 11), and support arm (Figure 1, Item 2) from machine.
NOTE
Note orientation of support arms to aid in installation.
Note quantity and location of spacers to aid in installation.
4. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 1, Item 8), washers (Figure 1, Item 7), spacers (Figure 1, Item 10), pin
(Figure 1, Item 9), and two support arms (Figure 1, Item 6) from machine.
