TM 5-3805-258-10OPERATOR’S COMPARTMENTThe disconnect switch mustbe ON to supply electrical powerto the operator’s compartmentfor the EMS to function.If any of the indicators or the fault lightdo not light up, have the electrical systemchecked and all necessary repairs madebefore starting the engine.If all the indicators and the fault light didlight up, start the engine, Repeat the paneltest with the engine running. All indicatorsand the fault light should light up again, Thefault alarm should also sound,If any of the indicators or the fault lightdo not light up or the fault alarm does notsound, stop the engine, Have theelectrical system and any vehicle system, forwhich the indicator did not light up,inspected. Have all necessary repairs madebefore starting the engine again.EMS Warning LevelsThe EMS provides three warning levels,The first level requires only operatorawareness, The second warning levelneeds operator response, The third warninglevel requires immediate shutdown of thevehicle.
