If necessary, add more coolant until the
level is within 1 cm (1/2 inch) of the bottom
of the fill pipe.
WARNING
At operating temperature, engine coolant
is hot and under pressure.
WARNING
Steam can cause personal injury.
WARNING
Check coolant level ONLY when engine is
stopped and radiator filler cap is cool en-
ough to touch with your hand.
WARNING
Remove filler cap slowly to relieve
pressure.
WARNING
Cooling System Conditioner contains al-
kali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to
prevent personal injury.
WARNING
Use all cleaning solutions with care.
With the engine stopped and cool:
16. Inspect the radiator cap gasket.
Replace the gasket if it is damaged.
1. Remove the radiator cap slowly to
relieve any pressure in the system.
